Uzima

For the last 19 years, we have organized an annual Medical Camp whose main aim has been to offer an opportunity for the sick in the communities around us who have little or no access to medical care to receive such care.

The goal for the camp is to address health issues that often hinder the poor from productive work.

We have since realized that the Medical Camp, helpful as it has been, and being a one-day event does not cater to all the health needs our neighboring communites have. Hence the Uzima Program!

Through this, we have many other activities, like our annual Uzima run, community talks and empowerment initiatives, deworming and cleanups among others.
